The Reader’s Charity Auction for a visit to The Royal Gardens at Highgrove

We’re delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to bid for a visit to The Royal Gardens at Highgrove with supper, an overnight stay AND raise money for The Reader in the process!

Thanks to the huge kindness of our friend Steve Kingshott who donated this to The Reader, we are holding a charitable auction for this spectacular experience which includes two tickets for a tour of Highgrove’s private gardens, supper and an overnight stay at The Ormond at Tetbury.

This two-hour tour of the gardens begins at 5.30pm on Friday 28 July followed by a two-course supper served in the Orchard Restaurant. The Ormond at Tetbury is a traditional Cotswold coaching inn that has welcomed travellers since the 17th century. Visitors can expect a warm and friendly welcome on their overnight stay on the evening of 28 July.

The auction is now open!

Bid now!

Bids close at 5pm on Monday 24 July. All the money raised will support our work to build stronger communities through Shared Reading.
