Next week, Liverpool plays host to the UK Dementia Congress for the very first time. From 1st-3rd November hundreds of delegates will arrive at the BT Convention centre to attend a range of plenary sessions, parallel sessions, workshops and special interest sessions.
We will be present throughout the event with an information table in the main hall, and on 3rd November I will be presenting in a parallel session about our Get Into Reading groups. The presentation will focus on our partnership with Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Memory Service and use the example of our joint project to demonstrate best practice in delivering services for people living with dementia in a community setting.
If you are attending, do come and visit our table and say hello. We will have lots of information about our work and will be selling copies of A Little, Aloud and Poems To Take Home. Hope to see you there!
